Changing Gears

After a tumultuous spell I have decided to get serious about creativity. I am committing to using primarily recycled materials in an effort to reduce my ridiculous stash of everything. I'm going to attempt to sell my projects if I can get up the nerve. Stay tuned- I have a great shopping bag made from a vinyl weave cat food bag and two cool vintage belts to post as soon as I get my camera and butt in gear!

Abby Normal

My poor neglected blog! I've been Facebooking and have been lazy. This is Abby- she is made of my usual conglomeration, including the henna hand and netting stamps from the Home Impressions freebie stamp plate, and the fish boys head from the Orient Plate. He/she is an odd sort to be sure, and looks fabulous in person.

Double Dose of Crank

Still my favorite stamp from the Home Impressions line, the sour puss is back in the form of an ATC and an altered index card divider. I used a lot of bits and pieces- lots of fun on this frigid winter evening- brrrr baby bbrrrrrr!

Scrabble Anyone?

I used Scrabble tiles for the base of this collage. I stamped it with Fashion Plate stamps and a few odd stamps I had at hand. The seamstress is stamped on a bisque tile from my stash, and I added a crows feather that had some Pearlex on it along with other stuff. I was thinking this would make a great album cover, but I'm going to send it to Ria as is so she can use it however she likes....

Jangling Java!

"Jangling Java, Geisha Girlz- that's not your Mamasans' Cup of Tea".... this is what popped out when I decided to make some New Years cards with the Asian Plates. I don't know where I channelled the cartoon style from, but I think I like it :)

I am having a lot of fun with the Asian Plate ! I think the next round will be shrines and jewelery, and maybe mixed with some of the other stamps...

Geisha Card

It is asian madness over here! This is the first card that I have completed using the Orient plate. I have bits and pieces stamped and waiting to turn into more cards and tags. This is an excellent set Ria- thank you for sending it to me!
